Wrapping up E3 2011

• My fellow employee David Bass did a great wrap-up of the cool stuff that happened to him at E3 this year on his blog so I decided to do the same!

Here are the highlights of my trip to E3 this year:

• On Wednesday I got to lead a small army of 501st Stormtroopers, Jedi and Sith Lords from the EA booth to the outside of the convention center.  Going down the escalator I turned around to see two Stormtroopers holding their guns right behind me. Talk about making you feel like a badass.  Everyone was taking pictures as we walked by. I felt kinda like Darth Vader (with a camera). The Star Wars geek in me was giggling evily.

• I got to FINALLY meet Aktrez (aka Becky Young), who I played Galaxies with and DJed on Hyperdrive Radio back in the day. We’ve known each other for so long and never actually met! Sadly, didn’t get any pics together.

• Meeting all the people from the SWTOR Fan sites is awesome as usual.

• Filming a Stormtrooper and a Jedi Knight playing Star Wars Kinect and then seeing Gene Simmons looking through the window and grinning at them.

• Watching the Batman: Arkham City demo. Game looks like its gonna rock!

• Playing Battlefield 3 was badass. I tore through people in that tank turret!
